School Clubs

Art Club 
The Art Club meets most Mondays from 2:45-4:00 in the Art Room. There is an application process in August that students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade must complete before being considered for Art Club. Contact Mrs. Gomez at elise.dotson@clayton.k12.ga.us for more information.

Chorus 
Chorus meets most Tuesdays from 2:45-4:00 in the Music Room. There is an application process in August that students in 4th and 5th grade must complete before being considered for Chorus. Contact Ms. Saxton at april.saxton@clayton.k12.ga.us for more information.

Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl
Reading Bowl practice takes place most Tues.-Thurs. from October through February until 4:30. The Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl takes place at the end of January each year. Students may try out for Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl beginning in October. It will be necessary for students to read 10 - 20 books in order to be ready for the competition. Students compete in a "quiz bowl" style competition based upon the books from the Georgia Book Awards Program. Contact Ms. Wade at karol.wade@clayton.k12.ga.us for more information.
